It’s Monday… or is it?

It is Monday today, but here in the UK, it’s a Bank Holiday, so I might slope off after lunch and return to the editing. The last few days have been a little hectic and to be honest, I need some me time as I’m shattered! I snuck out to the garden first thing to…

Old Age Happens to Everyone…
Ever since I was little, I have always been determined that I would never grow old. I didn’t think I was Peter Pan; I just knew that old age wasn’t for me. This wasn’t something I thought about much, I just knew I wasn’t having any of that. The thought that I might not live…

And the Story goes on…

After a frustrating morning waiting for the new couch to arrive, it turned up at 1.45. We crossed our fingers and held our breath as they approached the front door. This was the first hurdle. One that has failed before, as some couches refuse to be shoved through a narrow doorway. It sailed through the…

This is One Hell of a way to start August!

by
This is one hell of a way to start August! Tomorrow we are getting a new couch. This entails dragging the old one outside for collection. Not a problem, right? Wrong. The last time we did this, for the two-seater, and not so long ago, I hurt my back and damaged my knee. What made…

by
Today is Tuesday Review Day, and we are really pleased to share our appreciation for Alex Craigie’s ( or Trish as we all know her) new book, The Rat in the Python. As I read this book, I relived so many memories, some I didn’t even know I remembered. It was good to actually see…
