Sometimes, when sitting at my computer, I often look out of my window. Hard not to really, as it is right there beside me. I can’t see much, just a scrap of sky and a couple of my bonsai.

I do some of my best thinking staring out of this window.

Sometimes, however, there are better things to see. Like when a blackbird decided to check out my trees. He poked around for a bit, looking for worms. An amusing sight really, but unfortunately, I have never been able to photograph him.

Today I had another visitor, and I almost missed it. Something was hopping about out there but was doing a good job of hiding beneath the foliage. Undeterred, I started to photograph everything, hoping to capture something…

Mister Robin is a regular visitor to the garden, but this was the first time in my bonsai forest…
