I

Slip by

Shadows, dream

I slide, stumble

I cannot afford

To end this dream, death waits

I need someone to assist

To make sure that I am woken

Before I tumble into black wings

I hear no alarm bell, no voice calling

My name is silent, no one to wake me

I feel the soft velvet touch of death

Inky darkness carries my mind

Would someone bestow some light

Provide me a way out

Call back my foolish

thought of leaving

I want to

keep my

Life.
