Garden hose spraying water creating a rainbow over flowers

More ups and downs yesterday, but nothing disastrous. At least, I didn’t think so until late in the afternoon when we were attacked. Something called Mcafee rushed to tell me we had just been attacked by seven viruses.

One phone call to Eset, our security system, soon sorted that out.

This was after a very enjoyable morning changing the seat cushion on my favorite stool. It lives in the corner of the living room, and is very handy for a quick sit down while going about some of the daily business around here.

The cushion is almost flat, so no longer comfortable or welcoming to sit on.

It must be twenty years since I upholstered anything, and it felt really strange to drag out the old sewing machine, but everything went well. Just one design flaw, but its at the back, so no one will see it!

The weather is getting hotter, so I am fretting over the bonsai like an old mother hen. I really worry that the intense heat of the sun will shrivel their leaves, but I have run out of shady spots… At the end of the day, I enjoy cooling them (and me) down with the garden hose.

Keep your curtains closed until the sun goes down, stay as cool as you can…

best wishes

Jaye 💕
