This week has not been very productive, as we have been subjected to the severe temperatures of a heatwave. Nearly 40 degrees! Towards the end of the week, we really thought we were dying, we couldn’t keep cool or move around much. The heat stole our strength, leaving us barely conscious.

The extreme heat warning was lifted yesterday, accompanied by a stiff, cooling breeze that rescued us all from inertia. We opened all the doors and windows and enjoyed the welcome coolness. My brain stirred for the first time all week. I think the lack of thought annoyed me more than the heat, to be honest, so I am ecstatic to be thinking at full throttle again!

It will be warm for the rest of the coming week, but it should be manageable after last weeks blistering heat. There has been no mention of any thunder storms, which is most unfair, aren’t we supposed to have some after all that heat?

I hope all of you who have been over heated lately have managed to stay cool better than we did!

Much love from

Jaye 💕
