Anita wrote this poem a long time ago, but I happened to see it this morning, while looking for a little inspiration. This is getting harder to find these days, as living with pain is unsettling at best.

I have eased up a little on the exercise routine, but no visible difference yet. I am still waiting for the appointment for the next stage of my treatment, and I have never been much good at waiting…

I’m off to see if I can lose myself in my writing… 💕💕

  1. Waiting sucks!!! … but will we, or nil we, time eventually passes, but you’d think it could move a little faster now and then! :D

    1. Nothing good ever happens in a hurry, does it? which is a crying shame…

  2. I love Anita’s poem Jaye. Living in pain is a trial and we can only take each day as it comes.

    1. This I am learning, but it doesn’t come easy, Di. 💕

      1. I know Jaye. The little white pills are OK but even they don’t hit the marl every time. Luckily I now have three choices and they all work differently!

        1. Glad to hear that you are the master of your health, Di… must be wonderful to feel in control. I can just about remember how that felt, and still looking forward to feeling that again! 💕

          1. Hopefully you will Jaye, and I hope soon.
I’m having a bad day today and already taken two lots of painkillers. I didn’t sleep well,. so that didn’t help. Roll on bedtime and the final hat trick of pill to help the muscles relax. First time I will have had to take all three in one day for a while :(

            1. I am sorry to hear this, Di… May tomorrow be better? 💕💕

              1. It’s the way it goes Jaye. Today started off pretty well, but has got worse as it progressed, so white pills and I are best chums at the moment.

                1. These little white pills sound like something I should be having, they sound amazing. I am stuck with paracetamol, which is barely adequate…

  3. Chronic pain may disallow your creativity. I totally understand. Don’t be too hard on yourself.

    1. some writing is filtering through, so all is not lost, Violet…
