Inside my own bubble
Madness passes me by
Paper roses don’t die
Recycled from old news clippings
After the news has faded, been forgotten
Cute cat pictures take the number one spot
Targets to reach,
Inside the financial columns
Caught red handed diamond thieves
Anger explodes over
Loss of emotional items 
        that may never be returned…

The wonder of magic, of water
A rainbow world in each bubble
Suspended opalescence
A space to build your dreams on
I place the picture on my wall
So it’s the last thing I look at before I sleep
Dreams come thick and fast
I’m inside a translucent bubble
The world outside transformed
Elementals live there
Happy inside their soft light
I wonder how long my bubble will last
Before I am back in my own world…
