This is Myrtle, and I never expected to see this display of flowers this year.

Anita had it trimmed, as it was growing like crazy, and that, I thought, was that. ( I really miss not being in control of the gardening!)

But, as you can see, it has more than made up for the shock of seeing it shorn. The flowers smell amazing too.

I wanted to show off the hydrangea, which is also showing off, but technology has beaten me again.

I am now in a funny mood, and I know from past experience that it could go either way. Maybe I should switch of this blessed mmachine, and write another chapter for the WIP before I do something I know I will regret later.

A glorious Sunday to all, and I hope the temperature stays at a comfortable level.

    1. I did post images when we first acquired it a few years ago, they are unusual, aren’t they?

  7. Such a gorgeous flower- and one I have never seen in real life.

    1. They seem to be quite rare, but I can’t think why. They are strong growers, hardy and show stoppers!
