A Rainbow Sky
Step into the future
People wait to greet you
Under a rainbow sky
New life begins…
Play
the game
lose your life
spin, try to win
shadows watch your time
old souls play beside you
the game is rigged, know the trick
right hand shake the dice, left hand throw
trick the Gods of what they think they know
the left-hand throw is meant to be slower
the Gods know the left throw to be loaded
they would have to bring out the big guns
to stop what fate has already won
cheers grow loud on every throw
two more throws win the pot
your hand is shaking
the Gods, they smile
to see you
win the
lot

Captivating piece. Worth a try, that left hand throw. Talk about shaking things up.

What fun these poems are, Anita. Well done. I’m not much of a gambler. I have rotten luck. LOL! 😀

That is great! I forget which type of poetry that is but it looks very familiar.
