I hope I don’t look this bad…

I am getting so many jobs done around the house, trying to avoid wearing my glasses.

Wearing them makes the problem with my left eye worse, so I am doing what I can to stop myself from going crazy. Most people who know me well think I am more than halfway there already, but that’s just their opinion.

I have been trying to read my notes for the new WIP, but it’s hopeless. I just cannot do it.

I suppose I will eventually run out of jobs. However, they seem to be coming out of nowhere, so hopefully, I can fend off the madness for a while yet.

I have had this dizzy business before, but it has never lasted this long.

The worst part of all this, apart from being unable to write, is my newfound need to find things to do. When did that happen?

Normally, jobs must become urgent before I acknowledge they’re there, so actively seeking them out is new for me.

This can all stop as soon as it likes, for if I don’t make headway on the WIP soon, I might end up certifiable!

I am waiting…

  1. For static stuff, like writing, would one of those big magnifying glasses on a stand help? Like the kind used for embroidery, etc.

Love the pic at the top. :D

    1. Thanks Widds, you may have the solution right there!

  2. Hopefully, this too shall pass.

    1. I’m sure it will, John, followed by more of the same, no doubt. Who knew growing old would be such a pain?

      1. As you have said. Takes guts to grow old.

  3. Sending good vibes, Jaye!

  4. Oh, dear. Vision problems aren’t good. I have eyesight problems, too, but I have one brilliant eye. It’s my right that has all the problems.

Dizziness isn’t good, either. I hope you get better soon you can get on with your WIP. It must be frustrating not to be able to continue with it.

    1. I have never been so frustrated in my life, I have never not been able to do what I want, when I want!

      1. It is frustrating, isn’t it?

        1. I have learned that whatever old age chucks at me, if I wait long enough, I get used to it…
