Life Remembered
I have slept too long, I awake now
I walk where my footsteps remain
Dark skies, bright stars hold my secrets
Remembered foolishness
Lost love, oh sweet hands that touched
The lips I kissed when young
Each ragged rock a step in time
When once I walked where rivers flow
Would time return if mind would change
I will walk again those same ragged rocks
With hand held in love…
