I have lain on golden shores
Bathed in green seas
Until my soul ached no more
My eyes witness to many a sunrise
To the scurrying of human feet
That go nowhere
Their minds locked in drudgery
My heart beats a fire into glow
Fuelled by the love I see
Man shall beat the test of time
The Gods will stay their hand
Destroy man no more…
