WEEKLY #TANKA TUESDAY #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 213 #EKPHRASTIC #PHOTOPROMPT

The
Raging
Water runs
Bending colour
Rainbow flowing bright
Magic paid the piper
For first colour, dancing light
Black and white would give us a fright
I thank the Gods for colour magic
A world without would be nowt but shadow…

    1. Thanks Colleen… glad you liked it!

  2. This is really nice imagery, Anita. Most animals only see in shades of gray, I understand. Think of what their world must look like. <3

    1. Fortunately, they don’t know it could be different…

      1. True. Humans received so many gifts. If they only knew. <3

        1. So very true…

  4. Lovely poem. I like the interspersed rhyme.

    1. Thank you, Diana…
