As someone so unloved, I wondered
if angels would weep at my demise
Would they clap their wings and say?
At last, he has arrived
To take the seat they put aside
The welcome feeling of great surprise
To be told my life has been one soft sigh
No more than a breeze through Spring trees
I should not despair as more has been put aside
They promised the second bite
of the apple would be sweeter
With these words, I heard my last sigh…
Poems don’t come more enigmatic than that! So sad…but there’s hope.. x

It makes one think about the second bite. Better or worse? Well done, Anita.
