Fire Angel

I lay on the dining room floor, unable to move

The fire raged around me,

Devouring everything in sight

Red dust floated above my head

Stars made from fire

I heard a voice; an angel had come for me

He had no wings, his face covered in a clear mask

As he spoke, strange air sounds

Pushed his voice towards me

He lifted me from the floor

The fog vanished from my mind

I was outside the flame eating fire

Now each day I start with a cup of coffee

And a conversation with the universe

For a moment, I am transported outside of time

Touching the divine

The scars on my body no longer bother me…

AAAAA
