Today, I intended to spend the day quietly catching up on some chores, maybe cherry-picking a job or two from that ever-growing list. Anything to stop me from rehearsing all my questions at the doctor’s tomorrow.

Well, the thought was there. I did try, but it wasn’t long before the welcome sunlight I could see from my window awakened the desire to go for a walk. Just a little one, in case it was still rather chilly out there.

I hadn’t been out for ages, and it felt so good to be out of the house.

Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday, and bless you all! 💖💖

  1. I know exactly how you feel. After sitting in a car for five days, I couldn’t wait to do my walk-about.

    1. No tumour, but might be migraine… which is less worrying I think… 💖

      1. That’s good news that it’s not a tumor!!! I think migraines are more manageable once you get some support. :-)

        1. They say I have too much stress, but don’t we all? I will have to try and manage it better…

          1. More walks in nature, Jaye, and hopefully your Bonsais can be a sort of meditation. As you discover ways to manage stress, feel free to share! These are stressful times, so we all would benefit.

  3. Happy Monday! You’ve motivated me to go for a walk. It’s 48 degrees in my hometown. A rarity for this time of year!

  8. Sometimes, a simple walk in the sunlight is the best remedy for a restless mind. Glad you got to enjoy the fresh air. Wishing you a peaceful and calming Sunday!

    1. It turned out to be a lovely day, Caroline… so I was glad I made the effort!

  9. I am chomping at the bit for a walk outdoors. The end of the season snow, which we call hard-pack because that is what it is, can be especially treacherous to walk on, and when the temps are hovering in the single digits, I don’t chance it as a fall in itself could be devastating, but at these temps? Surely, I would freeze to death! Paint me green with envy.

    1. One day soon, the snow will be a memory and you will be able to walk safely again… something to look forward to?

      1. Absolutely!

  10. Your walk inspired me to take one, too, and thanks for the reminder to let the peace of Sunday unfold. Enjoy the entire day!

    1. I really did, Grant. It was a lovely day…
