Wordless Wednesday sums me up quite well today. I have a doctor’s appointment in two hours, and like always, I’m not looking forward to pouring out my problems in just ten minutes. Only to be told that I am old and can’t possible expect to feel like a Spring chicken anymore. Personally, I just want to feel human again, a human without a constant ear and headache. Nothing I can do about the arthritis though.

Tomorrow, we have another engineer coming to fix the fridge freezer. If he bothers to give us his registration number so we can arrange parking. If he does, maybe he can fix the fridge’s problem. I’m not exactly holding my breath, though, as I think we need to buy a new one.

All in all, just too many ifs. Miracles do happen, but not usually around here…

So, I am not feeling very talkative today. What I am, is on the verge of grabbing someone by the throat, but that won’t solve anything. It might make me feel better though…

I hope your week is better than mine…

  1. I just thought of a new service. “Grab a Throat.” A guy comes to the house and for a fiver you get to grab him around the throat for five minutes. You can say whatever you want and shake him too if that helps.

    1. Sounds wonderful John, but five minutes might not be long enough!

      1. Ha ha ha. At least give him some air once in a while.

  2. peace be with you

    1. Bless you, Annette, just what I needed… 💖💖

  3. Hang in there. Everything is temporary.

    1. Thanks for the reminder, Jan, it never seems like at the time though, does it?

  4. I hope things weren’t as bad as you thought 💗

    1. I hoped for that too, fingers crossed and everything, but fate has other ideas. Another problem has arrived, and this one will take some getting rid of… More info when I get it…

  5. I hope the day exceeds your expectations, my friend. You deserve a break. <3

    1. Looks like any kind of break will have to wait a while… something new and horrible might have just joined in the fun. More info when I get it…

      1. Oh no. I’ll be thinking of you while you wait for more info. Sending hugs.

        1. Your hugs are very welcome right now, Diana… I am trying hard to be brave, but not quite there yet!

  6. Wow, sounds like a rough week. Wishing you luck with the fridge and hoping the doctor can provide some real help. Here’s to better days ahead!

    1. Thanks Caroline, but better days are on hold, awaiting an important update…
