Over the last few days I have been totally immersed in the final edit for The Mystery of Folly’s End. I’m not sure how it started, but once I dove in, I couldn’t leave it.

From struggling to do everything, or finding the proper time for this important stage, I have completely rearranged my working schedule. Which has, unfortunately, played havoc with everything else.

I have missed my internet interaction a lot, but not quite as much as I thought. Putting everything else on hold may not be the bes t way forward, but so far it’s working very well and my enthusiasm for this project is growing every day.

As I get closer to the finish line, my head is filling up with promotion ideas, trailers and additional material. Everything else has changed so much with this book, and I’m not sure why. Is it because this may be my last book, or is there another reason?

I will try to pop in from time to time, just so you don’t forget me…

  1. Let yourself enjoy this moment! It’s the reward for all the effort. Social media will still be here when you’re done. Writing, and life, come first!!!!

    1. Of course, there is always the risk that I might realise that I don’t really need all those bells and whistles…

  2. Diving in is the best way.

    1. As I have just discovered, John. This could catch on!

  3. I think this is wonderful! Sometimes you. just have to leave everything and get immersed in the project.

    1. This never seemed right before, but I am having so much fun at the moment!
