My five-year-old asked
Do flowers grow in heaven?
How do I answer
When I haven’t been there yet
Her unanswered question lingered…

  2. Wow, Anita, this is a spectacular poem. With the spread of COVID and everything else going on in the world, children pick up so many things. Well done, my friend. I hope you are fully recovered and back into the swing of things. <3

      1. Yes, they do. A they very seriously wait for an answer. This cracks me up as you can sometimes see the mental scrambling to come up with an answer in the adults.😃
