Love that Cerinthe! The leaves closest to the flowers turn blue. Strange and beautiful.

Is that what it is? It reminded me of a fuschia!

The variety is called “Pride of Gibraltar.” It’s an annual but produces lots of seeds, so you can be sure of having it again the following year. Bees like the flowers; it’s quite comical watching bumblebees wiggle into the tubular flowers. But it’s those blue leaves that impress me most!
