Colleen’s 2019 Weekly #Tanka Tuesday #Poetry Challenge
Colleen is not back in action just yet, so here is another double Etheree Poem from us…
One
Good seed
To bloom, grow
Evil destroys
What loving hands made
Disease spreads far and wide
Great towers fall and crumble
No voices heard church bells silent
On a wing and prayer, they return
Rebuild their towers bells to ring again
Man destroys what he can’t tame, blind desire
Leads us to home grown madness, cold hearts
Behind the mirrored face we see
We try not to let them in
Lest fear black hearts destroy
Warm seas to wash clean
What man has made
With sweet care
One good
seed
This is excellent, Anita.
