Waves

My soul needed to scream

to break free

as if trapped inside a bottle

thrown out to sea.

A forgotten message

tossed on the back of Poseidon’s horses

washed up on strange shores.

Faces sounds unknown to me.

For God’s sake, throw me back

let me ride the white wave home.

Uncork the bottle

 read the words written

on a slip of paper

asking for words in return.

The voice of friendship, hope

to silence my screaming.

Words to let me know I am not alone…

AAAAA
