Many thanks to Sue Vincent for another lovely #writephopto prompt!
Faraway
I find myself high above the clouds
Passing land and sea
Wishing I could be more than vapour
A mist that falls as rain.
Could someone catch a cup full
To bring me back again?
So many lives remembered
I cannot tell which was mine
Must I keep returning as cloud and rain?
There is no end to a circle I hear you say
Let someone catch a drop from the cloud
With mouth open wide
Before it hits the drain
I will be blessed in time to be born again…
