this bonsai is made from beads!

The heat is unrelenting, and my brain has almost given up all rational thought.

I say almost, so I am very grateful for being able to think at all, everything considered. So I am making the most of what remains.

Some of my bonsai are in full sun all day, and I really don’t know how they are still looking good. I would be a charred mess if I had to sit out there all day! They get a good soak when the sun goes down, along with a fine shower on their leaves. You don’t know how often I want someone to do the same to me…

Speaking of bonsai, years ago, I had a go at making bonsai out of beads. The image at the top of this post is a lovely example. A fascinating hobby, one which is trying to take root in my over heated head. I could do with doing something crafty at the moment, and I have just the tree in mind.

The WIP progress is coming along in leaps and bounds, and the excitement is mounting. I love it when this starts to happen, and it does help me to write faster!

Hoping you are all coping with the weather wherever you happen to be!

love always

Jaye💕
