What a jolly week I haven’t had!

A mixed bag of blessings, disappointment, and trouble.

We ordered things that have been found wanting and sent them back.

More things were ordered, but they failed to work, so they went back too.

Two refurbished computers turned up one after the other and neither of them worked.

Consequently, work of any kind was temporarily suspended due to these pointless exercises, along with frequent trips to the vets with Milo. Apart from Milo, it has been one miserable and fruitless week. He is making slow progress at last, BTW…

This week was the closest I have ever come to giving up, as all these technical failures have slowly robbed me of my confidence to do anything right.

There have been a few bright moments this week, however. Finally, some new growth in the garden and precious happy moments with the editing and preparing my book, talking to our friends and followers and preparing our new newsletter… This was a nightmare all on its own, but more about that when the dust settles!

I hope your week has been better than mine, and wishing you all a wonderful holiday weekend!

  1. The garden is as good escape as a good book. :) x

    1. It definitely is, Debby, but by the looks of things, gardening might have to be done in the rain, as we are in for a lot more of the wet stuff!

  2. I’m delighted that Milo is starting to improve. He’s such a sweet boy. Commiserations on the tech woes though. At least you could send those stinkers back. Fingers crossed next week is better. -hugs-

    1. Yes, and I was glad to. Normality has returned, at least what passes for normal around here!
And it it’s wonderful to see Milo much better too!
