Hot from my sister’s heart, a truly beautiful poem…

There is a flood inside my mind

My thoughts have no life jacket

Most of them are drowning in the sea of silence

Those that struggle ashore have little meaning

Did I put the bin out last night?

Did I remember to book the shopping?

There is a bright question mark, trying to tell me more

I wait for my thoughts to find me, to catch up

to let me know I haven’t lost myself

I stand under the stars, wondering where I fit

in this vast cosmic plan

Back in a warm bed, I leave my mind on my pillow

swimming in a sea of dreams

Morning light puts my thoughts back in order

I thank God for a new day…
