I think it’s a wonderful picture, but I take your point.
Sorry to be pedantic, but strictly speaking, the workers in a communal insect colony are sterile females. Their sting is an adapted ovipositor. (Egg laying tube).
Not that the information is any use when the blasted thing stings you!-
