The silver hours of our lives
Chime like bells that become silent
The light dims on plans we made
A match made in heaven they said
Minutes catch each breath
I drove through life without a care
Fate was on my side
The letter I wrote declaring my love
Never sent, you belong to another
What chance did I have
To break what is heaven made?
