Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Meadows – June 3, 2021

This kind of meadow is not something
I get to see very often anymore
Having walked through many in my younger days
They stay with me in dreams
I am young again, playing, making daisy chains
Racing each other to reach
the strawberry flavoured sherbet hills.
My earthly legs won’t run or skip these days
So, we meet in dreams, my friends and I
Forever young…
