Colleen’s Weekly Tanka Tuesday Challenge ~ #Poetry

Colleen M. Chesebro

#TANKA TUESDAY Weekly #POETRY CHALLENGE NO. 209, Last challenge of 2020

For the LAST poetry challenge of 2020, Colleen wants us to write a poem about hope, using our favorite poetry form (it doesn’t have to be syllabic). Please make these poems inspirational to others.

I
believe
In daydreams
The beauty there
Shifting colours blend
Desire born from wishing
Faith stronger than an oak tree
Promises written on rainbows
Endurance, fortunes fancy fulfilled
Through optimism came the great desire…
