Video by Mario Krimer from Pixabay

I am getting a litle desperate to see the sea, and after nearly freezing to death the other day, I knew I would have to wait a little longer. So when I saw this video while browsing, I thought I would post it today. Mainly so I could look at it every time I felt a bit blue.

I go to the sea for my solace, and Sis writes poetry… Here is the latest…

Running Free

You can run but you can’t hide

There are only a certain amount of words

Eventually, you will reach the end

How many books can you read?

before you want to shred the pages?

Open the window, let the pieces

be caught by the wind

Watch them fly free

Counting down the days

Until you catch them, like a lost balloon

Free from the four walls

that held you in lockdown…

I am feeling inspired, so I’m off to write…
