Day 6 of Cathy’s yearly ‘A Week of Flowers’ challenge. A lovely way to brighten up this first week of December, showcasing the colourful blooms of summer.

You can find Cathy’s post here.

I am cheating a little with this image, as this is what my sea holly was supposed to look like…

This is what grew instead. I am hoping it might do better next year…

I am beginning to wish I had some indoor plants…

  1. Wow, hope your sea holly grows to that and it’s really beautiful even as is in the second image.

    Lovely! 🙂

  3. When it grows, my sea holly looks just like yours (not the first pic!)

    1. Oh, that must mean that the picture has been enhanced then?

  4. Fingers crossed 🙏🏽

    1. Definitely, Cathy…

I love those sea hollies! I need to find space for one in my garden. 💙

    1. I am hoping they will improve with age…

  6. I love sea holly. Maybe it is difficult to grow? Mine was fabulous one year and then died! But there are lots of seedlings, so I am hoping one of them will grow a bit bigger next year. Hope yours does better too!

    1. I am hoping they are perennial, if not, maybe there will be seedlings for me too, Cathy…
