Someone is sleepwalking through my life
I feel them brush against my skin
Lifting the hairs on my arm, on the back of my neck
What if they wake, will they be stuck beside me forever?
Will their sleeping body expire?
How much of my life will be taken over?
How much interference must I suffer from this interloper?
I have no notion as to gender
Nor if it would make a difference to know which.
Time will tell.
I hope my sleepwalker wakes safe
Back in his or her own body
Leaving me to live my own life…

  1. A creepy poem. Very 2020. I’m hoping Anita’s health improves!

    1. Another trip to the A & E, more fluid on Anita’s lungs, so not as good as we hoped!

      1. I hope this is only a bump in the road to recovery.

  2. A creepy poem, Anita. Yikes. Happy Halloween. :-D

    1. Hasn’t been a happy Halloween, Diana…Anita had to go back to the hospital, more fluid in her lungs!

      1. Oh no. That’s not what anyone wanted to hear. What a disaster this year has been. Sending light and love.

        1. Thank you so much, Diana!
