Widgets don’t work with this, that was the first thing I tried. From what I can gather, they are to used in conjunction with a post about your book. Paste the code at the bottom as a way of getting links and an excerpt straight from Amazon. ( on your book page on Amazon, click on ‘imbed’ to get the code)
It works a treat, Jaye – however, I’d recommend you also include an image of the cover, or, a promo banner image, for rebloggers, like me, who need such things as part of their blog theme.
Otherwise, when we reblog it, the preview doesn’t actually come over to the reblogger’s post, and makes the reblog look odd. 😎
Thanks for that Chris, I didn’t really know what I was supposed to do with it, as the blog that I found it on left that part out. Sometimes learning is harder than it should be, isn’t it?
Now I have done it, I understand the merit of it. To be used on promotional material for the relevant book as additional contact. Not sure if I need it or not. What does everyone think?
Reblogged this on Where Genres Collide.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to imbed the same thing on my blog with a widget. So far nothing’s worked. How did you do this.

Thank you. You confirmed what I suspected.
