I am walking through the mirror

The silver shine tugging at my back

The box in my hand, with its illuminated content

becomes a scream so cold it breaks my heart

In this space, someone is trapped

I cannot reach that far

Are they lost in darkness forever

before I can find out?

The mirror shine pulls me back

My face in the mirror looks out

My mouth open wide, screaming

Is it me, or did I bring something back?
