Send the ferryman on his empty way
He cannot have her, she’s mine
I will tear the stars from the firmament
Rip the universe in half
Throw it back in God’s face
Tell him He has made a terrible mistake
Allowing a perfect love to wrap us together
To tear us apart too soon
The world would spin from its axis
All God’s creations would crash and burn
I would spend the next two thousand
reincarnated lifetimes to make it so
We belonged to each other
before we were born
