This poem is just a few hours old, and I am proud to post it here today.
It has been so long since my sister wrote anything new, I was beginning to think that part of our lives was over. I hope you enjoy The Crooked Path as much as I do!

Well frank confession, dont know if I understood the meaning fully. To me the poem is about the human journey through darkness and doubt, searching for meaning and a way back to one’s true self.
When you added the note that “sister wrote this after a long creative silence, ” so to me the poem also becomes a metaphor for reawakening one’s lost voice or inner light after a period of dormancy.
