I glance up at the sky. The same night sky that I spent hours upon hours gazing at as a child. Familiar stars, my oldest friends, shining back at me.I find peace and comfort in the starlight. Calm spreads over me, engulfing my being.
The moon’s dependablebrilliance stares back at me from the abyss. It’s an unattainable beauty. Cycling through it’s predictable phases, it becomes myanchor through the darkness. The moon whispers to my soul, the secrets of the universe.
This is one of life’s simplest pleasures. Yet, it remains my favorite. All that glitters isn’t gold. Sometimes, it’s more valuable than gold could ever be.
Valuable share.
Sheila was having a quick chat with the Moon last night before going to bed.
