The end. The most satisfying words to write in your story. The rush you feel when you have finished your narrative. All of the hard work and effort placed into writing your novel is finally over. The hours spent pulling your hair out because you could not find the right word to describe how your character was feeling. The times when you avoid writing because you cannot think of what happens next. The hours you find yourself in the zone and the words cannot stop flowing from your fingers. All of that comes to an end. ‘The end’ isn’t just an ending to your narrative, it is the end of the hardest part of being an author, an end to the stress.
