Night Owl Poetry - Dorinda Duclos
Clouds
Squinting
Against sun
Paint a picture
Of light conquering
Where twilight turns the sky
A deep shade of blue, beaming
Nighttide rolls in where bright once was
Covering the day, shielding our eyes
Until the morning is aglow again

Lovely…the clouds litter the firmament like fingerprints, telling a different story every time they appear in the sky.
