I know I can be a bit miserable at times, so when I received this little fellow on my recent birthday, I accepted it with good grace. Parents and grandparents grow accustomed to receiving strange offerings, and there have been some real corkers, so no real change there then.
I duly watered him as per the instructions and placed him on my office desk, and I must admit, the sight of him did make me smile.
The smiling continued, as over the next few days little tufts of grass began to sprout. And sprout…
I wonder where it will end… how much hair can he grow?
