A garden should make you feel you’ve entered privileged space — a place not just set apart but reverberant — and it seems to me that, to achieve this, the gardener must put some kind of twist on the existing landscape, turn its prose into something nearer poetry.

Bliss. Joy to all gardens…….(Ours is a ragged wild place, but we love it for that reason)

Snap! My garden is in charge, I am shamed to admit, I try to tidy it, but it rejects all efforts!

Some of them do! They just put their collective roots, stems etc together and say ‘this is how it’s gonna be’ and some bulbs say ‘Yeah and we won’t grow for three years, they’ll give up turn over the soil and we’ll pop up somewhere else,’
We claim work we worked hard to fashion the wild look.🌼😄🌻
