Every Monday, Paula Light, with her The Monday Peeve prompt, gives us an opportunity to vent or rant about something that pisses us off. Well, my peeve today is something I mentioned in my response to Melanie’s Share Your World prompt earlier today. I wrote, “I hate it when I’m watching something on TV and the sound (audio) and picture (video) are out of sync.”

It’s one thing if you’re watching a foreign-language movie or show that has been poorly dubbed in English. But if you’re watching an English language show where the voice you hear is not synced-up with what you’re seeing on the screen, it’s awful.

Unfortunately, it’s been happening a lot lately and I’m not sure if the issue is with my five-year-old HDTV or my Roku streaming stick that I got earlier this year when I cut the cord on cable TV. But over the past…
