Our cruise ended in Sitka and at breakfast we said “good bye” to some nice new friends. After breakfast we disembarked the ship and were taken by bus to the very beautiful Sitka National Historical Park for about an hour. We spotted a bald eagle and I managed to get a nice shot of him!
We were then taken to the hall where our cruise officially ended. We were no longer in our protected bubble and because we didn’t have to leave for the airport until 5 PM we had several hours to wander around this charming town. We would be sharing a cab to the airport with new friends, Diana and Steve, so we had a nice lunch together at a fun brewery. Everybody in Alaska brings their dog…
