I find bonsais are quite difficult when pruning. I don’t have a clear image of how I would like it shaped and since I have the fear of not making a mistake I leave it to grow as is. Do you have any advice?

I have to study my trees for quite a long time before finding the right move. Waiting until the leaves fall can make it easier to see the shape…

Sometimes it can take awhile to decide… after all, you can’t stick the branch back on!
