Not being perfect is normal

A perfect dad I thought I was

A perfect husband I tried to be

But for all the work I put in where did it get me,

But I realise now that no one’s perfect

I realise now that we’re all flawed,

And I feel that now, even more

I know I am even further from it than before,

But I can only be the best than I can be

So I strive each day to believe in me,

For perfect is a thing that anyone can achieve,

So don’t put that pressure or expectation on the live you live

Just focus on being kind and happy,

So that we can be strong enough to survive

So that that we can learn how to create a better life,

But we’ll never be perfect no matter how hard we try

So accept your flaws and dry those crying eyes,
