The good news is that the results are back and it is not cancerous or life threatening.
The sample showed inflammatory cells in the saliva gland, so this can be treated with medication. If they don’t work, then the gland can be removed.
This was taken on 21st May. The lump was quite big and under her left eye.
These were taken two days later. She’s really showing her age now ❤ ❤ ❤
We have noticed that it’s smaller in the morning, but by the end of the day has increased in size. This would coincide with an infection in the gland which produces saliva when she eats causing it to fill.
