The Community Zoo
I have heard the saying before, Kiss a duck and all day you will have good luck.
So when I took the kids to our community zoo, they thought I had lost the plot when I asked the young man if I could kiss one of the ducks.
He gave me a funny look, chased one and held it up so I could kiss its head.
Let me tell you, the only thing I got that day was a mouthful of downy feathers!
Good luck, if there was any, skated around me.
Just for once, I would like one of these sayings to be true…
