We’re currently suffering the ‘Beast from the East’ – freezing winds and snow from Russia which is causing our temperatures to plummet here in East Anglia to -2 this morning on my way to work (I know some of you are used to temperatures far colder than this, but this is unusual for the UK). Then a snowstorm hit me after work today as I was walking the mile back to the car, with the result that I soon looked like an abominable snowman!
I’ve shared below some snow pictures of our village. It’s all very pretty – but … cold!
The daffodils in our garden are bowed under the weight of snow. Only yesterday Sam cut our grass in the sunshine, but just for the next few days the grass has disappeared.
