Dispute #midnighthaiku

Sue Vincent's Daily Echo

There was an almighty screeching outside… unmistakeably a kite… so I grabbed the camera. Several crows were mobbing the bird of prey on the wing. There are a number of reasons why they may do so…territorial or feeding disputes or the protection and education of their young. The shots are not the clearest, and I only managed to get one crow in the frame, but the kite was so vocal! They were moving so fast that I was lucky to get any shots at all, but I loved having caught the kite at it turned to screech 🙂
